On the weekend of the Winter Solstice, nature invites us into stillness.
A sacred pause, where the external dims and the inner light becomes our guide.

The exact Solstice occurs at 12:41pm on Saturday 21stJune,marking the darkest and most introspective point of our seasonal cycle.
And so, on Sunday evening, 22nd June, we gather in the quiet afterglowto honour this turning point through Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra.

This 2-hour Winter Solstice Immersion blends the nourishingstillness of Yin Yoga with the deep release of Yoga Nidra, guiding us toward a spaceof replenishment and renewal.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, winter aligns with theWater element and the organs of the Kidneys and Urinary Bladder, which are saidto be the reservoirs of our life force, our Qi. When these organs are nurtured,we access our deepest reserves of vitality and wisdom. When depleted, fear cantake root.

Through long-held Yin postures, we stimulate thesemeridians, gently unblocking stored tension and emotion. As we soften, we openthe channels to restore flow, steadiness, and courage.

Then, guided by the profound practice of Yoga Nidra - ‘yogicsleep’, you’ll be led into a liminal space between wakefulness and dream. Here, the veil of the ego thins. It is from this place of effortless rest that weplant the seed of Sankalpa, our soul’s quiet intention.

This Immersion is suitable for all levels of experience andhealth.

Please bring a mat, a pillow, and layers to keep warm.

Let’s meet in stillness. Let’s return to the quiet source within.
I look forward to sharing this evening of deep rest and reconnection with you.
